Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using VeriCIV.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using VeriCIV, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
2. Description of service
VeriCIV provides building plan compliance pre-verification against the rulepacks loaded in the engine at the time of verification — currently BBMP, BDA, BMRDA, GHMC, and IS 456:2000. There is no NBC 2016 pack. Only pe_approved rules can bind an overall BLOCK verdict; other coded rules are advisory. VeriCIV is a pre-check tool — it does not replace the municipal authority's official sanctioning process and does not guarantee approval of your plans.
3. Advisory nature of verdicts
All Verification Records and compliance verdicts are advisory in nature. The architect or professional responsible for the design bears full responsibility for the correctness of the plan and compliance with applicable regulations. VeriCIV's verdicts are based on the information provided by the user and the rules coded at the time of verification.
4. User responsibilities
You agree to: • Provide accurate plot dimensions, road widths, and other input data. • Not upload plans that belong to others without authorisation. • Use VeriCIV only for lawful purposes. • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform. • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
5. Intellectual property
The VERICIV compliance engine, software, and all related content are owned by VeriCIV Technologies Private Limited. Your floor plan files remain your intellectual property. You grant VeriCIV a limited licence to process your files solely for the purpose of providing the verification service.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VeriCIV shall not be liable for: • Any rejection of plans by BBMP, BDA, or other authorities. • Any loss, damage, or cost arising from reliance on VeriCIV verdicts. • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. VeriCIV's total liability in any case shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the preceding 3 months.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, access continues until the end of the current billing period.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
9. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification with at least 30 days notice.
